Welcome to Occhi Creations—where every image is an invitation to see the world through a different lens.

I’m Rajani, the founder of Occhi Creations (Occhi means “eyes” in Italian), a space born from my love for storytelling through photography. By day, I manage numbers and strategy as an accountant at Sea Pearl Sea Foods. But behind the spreadsheets, I’ve always been drawn to the visual rhythm of life—the kind that can’t be measured, only felt.

Photography became my way of connecting: with people, with places, and with moments that often slip by unnoticed. My first exhibition, Connections Collections, co-curated with fellow photographer Rekha Suresh, was a celebration of that very idea—how images can build bridges between perspectives, cultures, and emotions.

Since then, my lens has wandered freely—from the intensity of cricket and snooker matches to the soulful energy of jazz performances, from intimate wedding moments to the quiet beauty of nature, skies, and flowers. I also love capturing the spontaneity of casual events and the raw emotion in portraits. Each photo is a thread in a larger tapestry of connection.

Occhi Creations is my ongoing journey to explore those connections. Whether it’s the texture of a coastal morning, the quiet dignity of a street vendor, or the symmetry in everyday chaos, I aim to capture stories that resonate and linger.

Thank you for being here. I hope my collections speak to you, and maybe even help you see something familiar in a new light.

The Feminists: A Lens, A Voice, A Beginning

This photo isn’t just a memory—it’s a manifesto. Three women. One mirror. A camera held with intent. Rajani behind the lens, Michelle in stripes, Namratha blowing a kiss to the world. This was the beginning of The Feminists.

We didn’t start with speeches—we started with questions. With laughter. With rebellion tucked into candid frames. Michelle Susan, Namratha S Rai, and I, OV Rajani, formed a circle of vision and voice. We challenged silence, documented truth, and created space for stories that refused to be unseen.

That spirit lives in every image I capture. Occhi Creations is not just a brand—it’s a continuation of that lens. A way to see the world differently. A way to honor the women who dare to look, speak, and create.
